Caregiver

CAPE Out of School Care

CAPE Out of School Care is looking to hire 1 caregiver for the 2025-2026 school year.

  • Hours are Monday – Thursday; 2:45pm – 5:45pm and Friday; 12:00pm – 5:30pm.
  • Wages are $17/hour and includes professional development opportunities
  • CAPE OSC is closed for all statutory holidays including school breaks (Christmas, Easter, and February Reading week, and Spring break).
  • The posiition starts as soon as a suitable candidate is hired.

 

The ideal candidates:

  • MUST have Alberta child care certification. Level 2 or 3 preferred. Level 1 aaccepted.
  • MUST be available and physically able to work all afternoons (M-F).
  • Must be available for interviews between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

Middle Years Teacher

CAPE

CAPE is looking to hire 1.0 FTE middle years teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

  • Teaching assignment will include:
    • Humanities 6/7 enrichment
    • Literacy for Junior High
    • Numeracy for Junior High
    • Supporting core classes for Grade 4/5
    • PE & Wellness Grade 4
    • Electives
  • Knowledge and experience and enrichment or gifted programming is a strong asset.
  • Strong literacy & numeracy knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Administrative support for year planning.
  • Collegial mentor assigned for all teachers new to the school.
  • Position to commence as soon as a suitable applicant is hired.
  • All first year contracts are term contracts with benefits included. Possibility of continuing contract after a successful first year.
